Respite Care

“Respite” means short term relief from something that is difficult. Providing care at home for your loved ones can be the most rewarding experience in one’s life, but it can at times be very stressful and demanding. Primary carers need to respite from their demanding care giving activities to focus on themselves and to pursue other important aspects of their lives to avoid ‘care giver burn out’.

Grand24 will provide the much-needed timeout for your regular carer for few hours daily or for few days if your primary carer goes on a holiday or needs a short break. Respite care can be arranged to cover your regular carer’s sickness or any other circumstances as well.

Getting short breaks will benefit greatly to you and your primary carer as well. In many cases, respite care at home is better received by elders than moving temporarily to a respite care facility, which can be disruptive to their daily routines.
